2017 Spring Fiber Adventure Trip

Spend a relaxing weekend in the countryside with other fellow crafters on a creative retreat to learn new knitting and crochet techniques! The weekend will be full of informative workshops of YOUR choice, a day trip to an Alpaca farm for their annual Alpaca Shearing Festival, and fiber fun! There are limited spaces available for this wonderful weekend trip, sign up now! 

Itinerary

Friday, March 31:

7pm-9pm: Evening wine & cheese reception at Ash Mill Farm

Saturday, April 1:

8am-9am: Farm fresh breakfast provided by Ash Mill Farm

10am-noon: Morning workshop

Noon-1pm: Lunch 

2pm-4pm: Alpaca Farm trip for Annual Shearing Festival

6pm-8pm: Dinner and shopping in New Hope, PA

8pm-?: Relax and knit or crochet in the Farm's parlor by the fire

Sunday, April 2:

8am-9am: Farm fresh breakfast provided by Ash Mill Farm

10-noon: Morning workshop

noon-1pm: Lunch 

1pm-4pm: Afternoon workshop

Workshop fee is $244/person for 3 workshops and 2 lunches.

Our weekend getaway will be located at the Ash Mill Farm Bed and Breakfast. Ash Mill Farm is a 10-acre working sheep farm within minutes of New Hope, PA - a beautifully creative town!

Making the Most of Your Trip

What's included? 

Lodging, wine & cheese reception Friday night, breakfast and lunches for Saturday and Sunday, 3 workshops, and your trip to the Alpaca Farm & Shearing Festival.

What Is NOT included?

Transportation (carpooling can be arranged), Saturday night dinner, and materials for workshops.  

Cancellation Policy

If, for any reason, you must cancel before March 9th, you will be refunded the full amount paid. If you cancel between March 10th and March 24th, you will only be refunded the cost of the workshop ($244). There will be no refunds issued after March 24th.

About Your Tour Guide

Lisa M. Barnes is a nationally recognized knitting and crochet designer and Craft Yarn Council Certified Knitting Teacher. Founder of LMB Designs, her work has been published by Universal Yarn and Kreinik Threads, and featured in Noro Knitting Magazine, Debbie Macomber’s Blossom Street Collections, and Creative Knitting Magazine. 

“Adventures in Knitting” is Lisa’s new series of fiber tours, video tutorials, and online classes. Lisa guides you on your knitting journey to explore your creativity and interpret your stitches.
